Многие семьи в Лондоне живут в квартирах, но большинство людей живут в их собственных домах в пригороде. Мы тоже имеем дом в Лондонском пригороде. Я купил его около пятнадцати лет назад, когда я женился. Подобно большинству Лондонских пригородных домов он состоит из только двух этажей – первый этаж и второй этаж.

На первом этаже находится столовая, гостиная, кухня и холл. В холе мы видим вешалку для шляп, одежды и зонтов. Лестница ведет из холла на площадку на втором этаже. На это этаже находятся четыре спальни, ванная и туалет. На верху крыши находятся три трубы.

Перед домом мы имеем небольшой сад в котором мы выращиваем: розы, тюльпаны и т.д. Позади дома существует намного больший сад с газоном и некоторыми фруктовыми деревьями. Существуют также огород где мы выращиваем все виды овощей, такие как картошка, капуста, цветная капуста, лук и помидоры.

В стороне дома находится гараж, где я храню свою машину. Сад огорожен забором с воротами в них.

Many families in London live in flats, but most people live in their own houses in the suburb. We too have a house in a London suburb. I bought it fifteen years ago, when I got married. Like most London suburban houses it consists of only two floors – the ground floor and the first floor.

On the ground floor there are the dining-room, the lounge or the sitting-room, the kitchen and the hall. In the hall we see a stand for hats, coats and umbrellas. Staircase leads from the hall to landing on the first floor. On this floor there are four bedrooms, bathroom and lavatory. On the roof there are three chimneys.

In front of the house we have a small garden in which we grow rose, tulips and so on. At the back of the house there is a much large garden with a lawn and some kinds fruit trees. There are also a vegetable garden where we grow all kinds vegetables, such as potatoes, cabbages, cauliflowers, onion and tomatoes.

At the side of the house is a garage, where I keep my car. Garden is enclosed by the fence with a gate in it.
