On. We use on with dates and days.

EXAMPLS:

No preposition. We not use prepositions befor last and next.

EXAMPLS:
I'll see you next Friday
They got married last March.
The plane leaves tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM.

For. We use for + a period of time to say how long something goes on.
for six years
for a week
for ages
for the week-end

EXAMPLS:
Ann is going away for a week in September. 
I've lived in this house for six years.

During. We use during + noun
during the film

EXAMPLS:
I fell asleep during the film
We met a lot of interesting people during our holiday.

While. We use while + subject + verb.
while I was watching

EXAMPLS:
I fell asleep while I was watching TV. 
While you were out, there was a phone call for you.

By. By + a time = not later than.
by Monday
by 5 o'clock
by now

EXAMPLS:
We have to be at home by 5 o'clock
Where's Ann? She should be here by now . - уже должна прийти.

By the time - в то время как.
By that time (by then)- к этому времени.

EXAMPLES:
By the time he arrived, most of the guests had left.
But by then most of the guests had left.

Until. We use until or till to say how long a situation continues.

EXAMPLES:
I stayed in bed until half past ten .

On time. It happens at the time which was planned.

EXAMPLES:
The 11.45 train left on time.
Please be on time.

In time. It happens soon enough for something.
Too late . is opposite of in time.

EXAMPLES:
Will you be home in time for dinner?
We got to the station just in time to catch the train.
I got home too late to see the football match.

Over . указывает на период, в течение которого происходило действие за, в, в течение. указывает на действие, которое происходило во время какого-л. др. действия, занятия

EXAMPLES:
She's going to stay with us over the week-end.
She fell asleep over her work.

Through .  указывает на действие, которое происходило во время какого-л. др. действия, занятия

EXAMPLES:
She slept through the game.

At the end (of smth) = at the time when something ends.
I'm going away at the end of January.

In the end = finally.
He decided to go to Italy in the end .
