Participle II

Participle I - (Present Participle) образуется путем добавления ing окончания к глаголу и часто имеет активное значение, например:

taking	берущий
building	строящий
studing	изучающий
using	использующий

Children studing English will soon speak it.

Participle II - (Past Participle) образуется путем добавления окончания ed для правильных глаголов и часто имеет пассивное значение, например:

Do you remember the texts studied last year?

Examples:

I am fascinated by marine biology.
Marine biology is a fascinating subject.
Mike is very sad. In other words, he is depressed.
The news made Mike feel sad. The news was depressing.
I am interested in the exploration of space.
The exploration of space is interesting to me.
I found myself in an embarrassed situation last night.
The injured woman was put into an ambulance.
That annoying buzz is coming from the fluorescent light.
