We can often use in or at with buildings. We usually say at when we say where an event takes place. We use in when weare thinking about the building itself .

We usually say in with towns and villages. But we can use at when it is a point on a journey .

EXAMPLS:
His parents live in London .
Do you know if this train stops at Nottingham ?
